I understand that people all over the world can view this blog, so for those who have not yet met me, and those who have not yet seen me run, I would like to introduce myself by sharing a recent note I sent to a friend of my mom, who asked for some information about me:
Hello my name is Anfernee Isiah Joseph. I’m in the 6 th grade at St. Phillips Academy. My grades are mostly A’s and B’s.
In my spare time I do track and field for two organizations: Amature Athletics Union and USA Track and Field. I compete each and every weekend.
I run for an elite club based in New Brunswick, New Jersey, called "Green Streakers" and my coach’s name is Ron McBride. He’s a very good coach.
I have been competing in track and field since 2003 , and I have won more than 300 medals. I have 2 national cross country medals , and 5 nationals medals from the summer olympics.
Later on, I will tell you more about how I train and about the various places we have to travel to in order to take part in track & field meets. I hope also to have videos about our track & field meets, for you to enjoy.
I want to meet you all in person, someday.
